Parameters for the ZDE-01 type iron oxide desulfurizer

Service conditions:

Temperature: normal, preferable at 20-40℃

Air speed: (1) Normal pressure: 200 -500 hours-1

           (2) Pressurization: 500-1000 hours-1

Pressure: from normal pressure to 3 MPa

Ratio of height to diameter: 3:1

Gas to be purified: H2S content of up to 5000 mgs/Nm3 is allowed. If high desulfurization accuracy is required, multi-level desulfurization shall be adopted.

Water content: The water content acts as media in desulfurization, but too dry or too wet material may affect the efficiency of desulfurization. It is required that the moisture content in the gas should not exceed the saturated moisture content at operation temperature. The liquid carried in the process charge gas should be avoided to prevent the micropores of the desulfurizer from being blocked and its strength from being damaged greatly.

PH value: the PH value of the desulfurizer shall be kept at PH8 ~ 9 in favor of desulfurization.

Regeneration: temperature: 30 to 60°C with a maximum of  80°C.

This product is packed with two methods:

1.  Packed in plastic bag-lined woven bags:40±0.5 kg/bag

 2.Packed in jumbo bags: 700-900 kg/bag

Other Package

If the customer requires the product delivered in  cartons, plastic barrels, drums and other containers, extra fee will be charged.

1. The desulfurizer shall be packed in plastic bag-lined composite woven bags or sealed in other packages to prevent breakage, moisture absorption and chemical contamination.

2.For the purpose of transportation and handling,  rolling, collision, high pressure and violent vibration, throwing and trampling should be avoided to prevent the product from being pulverized.

3.Rain-proof and moisture-proof measures should be taken for storage and transportation.

4. The product is classified as non-hazardous, but relevant regulations or rules should be adhered to for its storage and transportation.

1. The new desulfurizer shall be handled gently due to its low strength. A tall desulfurization tower shall be loaded in layers with each 2 to 3 m tall by preference; sudden pressure increase shall be avoided by all means in operation, otherwise the desulfurizer may be powdered due to the effect of stress; it is strictly forbidden to soak the desulfurizer in water, which may result in dramatic drop of its strength.

2. At least two points for temperature measurement shall be set in a desulfurization tower for the convenience of observing the temperature during regeneration. Once there is a sign showing excessive temperature, measures shall be taken without delay to avoid damage to the desulfurizer and the corresponding equipment.

3. All the desulfurizater can be replaced at a time, depending on specific conditions, or it can be replaced layer by layer in the direction of airflow.
